Today we received word that two of our students will be honored at the 2017 NM State FFA Convention with their State FFA Degree. This award is the culmination of work done throughout their FFA careers in their Supervised Agriculture Experience programs and documents that they have productively earned and invested a minimum of $1000.
Dylan Barbee earned his through his employment as a summer employee working with the maintenance department at Hagerman Schools.
Anna Blake earned hers through her Market Swine project.
Both students will receive a pin and certificate as well as the option of 3 credit hours of college credit from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces upon their enrollment as a full time student.
They bring our chapter total of State FFA Degrees to 84.
