U.S. News and World Report each year lists the Top 100 schools in its America's Best High Schools. These 100 schools have high performing students and many who take Advanced Placement tests. Hagerman did not qualify for the Top 100 because we did not have any students taking AP exams in 2005-06, but we met the other criteria. Because of that, Hagerman High School has been awarded the Bronze Medal in the rankings. Visit the data at the magazine's website. Only 15 other schools in New Mexico received distinction including Los Alamos, Sandia, and La Cueva High. Again, congratulations to Hagerman's teachers, students, parents, staff and community!
